Janet Hudnut Ahrens is a handmade paper and book artist who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art. Her textural abstract three-dimensional paper works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Her wide use of texture, strong lines, and industrial materials make her work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes. Janet is accomplished in using traditional Western methods of papermaking as well as Eastern papermaking. Her work has been exhibited internationally. Although Janet loves to express her vision through art, she is also adept at creating commercial works and readily communicates the vision of her clientèle.
